Capital Age Festival

One of the major London summer events organised for the older people
is the Capital Age Festival (CAF). The festival is held August 19th
at Bernie Spain Gardens, London SE1 and is a part of the famous Coin Street
Festival. Though programmed for mature visitors, CAF is accessible for anyone
who wants to see the creativity that our granddads and grandmas are full of.
There are various works presented by the capital’s older actors, poets,
musicians, singers, dancers and artists from 2pm to 6pm. Among the event’s
highlights are the performances by the jazz & poetry cabaret from London
Time Bank Purple Poets and Mobo Cabaret, dance performances by Iberian Dancers
(Europe) and Proteas (South Africa), and much more. To make the event even more
pleasant there are hand, nail and head massage therapies provided at the
Well-Being area.
