Hay’s Galleria Oyster and Seafood Fair 2007

Every food lover should know that September is the time to open the
oyster season. To mark the event, Hay’s Galleria organizes its traditional
Oyster and Seafood Fair, celebrated for the 17th time in 2007. This
year the fair is held September 7th – 9th. This is a true
heaven for those fond of seafood. There is a great amount of high quality
seafood dishes offered at the fair and cooked right in front of you: be it
crabs, shrimps, langoustines, lobster, Thai seafood or Spanish paella. Plus to
this, visitors are offered a good choice of drinks from New Zealand wines to
Guiness beer. All the dishes are cooked by experienced chefs so better arrive
with a spare place in your belly. The three-day event has something for
everyone. If you like cooking, visit demonstrations by the National Federation
of Fishmongers and chef Miles Kirby. If eating is not your aim, come to take
part in street entertainment and listen to Caribbean steel band performing live.
