Little girls often dream of becoming ballerinas. But here’s a
story of a mouse who dreams of dance career. Angelina Ballerina is a book character
created by Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig. The book was
published in 1982, in 2002 there was an Angelina Ballerina TV show produced and
finally, there is a ballet show offered by The English National Ballet. But
despite the fact that the show is intended for children over 3, one shouldn’t
think its something childish and low-quality. The sets, the costumes and the
quality of ballet dancing could be compared to the ones you usually expect from
a high quality production. Your daughters will like this story of a little mouse
who wants to become a ballet star. Angelina Ballerina sets off on tour September
6th and will give more than 100 performances at 20 different venues.
