Undeviating in Union Gallery Jul 12 2006
From July 12th Union gallery presents solo London exhibition of Tobias Lehner. Tobias Lehner is an artist born in 1974 in Leipzig, Germany where he still lives and works. The majority of this exhibition sees Lehner continuing his use of vivid colour schemes to dynamic effect in his abstract paintings.As part of this new union show visitors will see his most recent development, an inversion of bold colour schemes with experiments in purely black, grey and white abstraction. His recent exhibitions were held in Leipzig, The Essl Collection of Contemporary Art, Vienna; Galerie Kleindienst, Leipzig; Laden fur Nichts, Leipzig; forbilder, Jena, Meisterklasse Gille; Malerei, Produzentengalerie, Hamburg; Ohne Zögern, Die Sammlung Olbricht Teil 2, Neues Museum Weserburg, Bremen. Union gallery was opened in June, 2003 in London and is run under the directorship and owner Jari Lager. It’s situated near Tate Modern and is housed in the unique venue of converted railway
