London International Youth Science Forum Jul 26 2006
From 26 July till 9 August London International Youth Science Forum will come to British capital. Here all the participants will have a unique possibility to get acquainted with many new areas of science, meet some of the world’s best young scientists and learn about different cultures and traditions. Each year the Science Forum brings together about 250 students of the sciences, from almost 60 countries. The programme includes: lectures and demonstrations from leading scientists, seminars, debates and discussions on scientific topics of world concern, visits to industrial sites and research facilities, visits to academic research centres in London, Oxford and Cambridge, visits to the Science Museum, and the Natural History Museum, social activities, including Discos, inter-hall competitions, a light-hearted International Cabaret, and an evening of Songs of Home. Participants will live in London University Halls of Residence. Meals are organized throughout the Science Forum.
